1. 30-Day Return Policy
Battery Joe accepts returns and exchanges within 30 days of the original purchase date. To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be in new, unused condition and include all original packaging, accessories, and proof of purchase.
- Returns must be made to the original place of purchase (online orders can be returned by mail or to a Battery Joe store).
- Shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
If your return is approved, a refund will be issued to your original form of payment within 5–7 business days.
2. Restocking Fees
Some items may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% depending on product type and condition.
This applies particularly to:
- Automotive, powersport, and specialty batteries
- Custom-built or special-order products
- Items that show signs of use or missing packaging
Restocking fees help cover the cost of testing, repackaging, and restocking returned merchandise.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Installed automotive batteries
- Custom-built battery packs
- Opened electronic components or accessories
- Gift cards
4. Warranty Claims
Many products sold by Battery Joe include a manufacturer’s warranty.
- Warranty coverage and terms are provided by the manufacturer, not Battery Joe.
- For warranty assistance, please contact the manufacturer directly using the information included in the product packaging.
- Battery Joe can assist with basic documentation or proof of purchase if needed but does not process or approve warranty claims.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a product that is damaged or defective upon arrival, please contact us within 7 days of delivery or purchase so we can assist you with an exchange or replacement. We may require photos or inspection before processing the return.

In-Store Purchases:
Bring the item, original receipt, and any included accessories to your nearest Battery Joe location.
Online Purchases:
Contact us at info@batteryjoe.com with your order number and reason for return. Our team will provide instructions and, if applicable, a return shipping label.
