Battery Joe takes care of all battery recycling services at all of our stores. With the increasing abundance of E-waste being environmentally conscious has never been more important to Battery Joe. We live in an increasingly portable world. With new advances in technology we have the ability to “cut the cords” of our devices more and more. Unfortunately for our land this means a greater and greater demand for battery technology. Batteries are made up of many different compounds such as nickel, lithium, cadmium, zinc and silver oxides. All of these can pollute landfills and be harmful to groundwater if not handled properly. At Battery Joe we understand our part in this issue and have dedicated ourselves to the issue of battery recycling, rebuilding and reuse through our Eco Energy Services.

We have made battery recycling an easy process for all of our customers and clients in our Battery Joe stores. The recycle bins at each store are labeled to help you easily identify where to place your specific battery. These include: Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Lithium Ion (Li-Ion), Primary (Non-Rechargeable), AA Batteries, AAA Batteries, and more.
